Oud-leerling (1999) Mitch De Geest, partner van oud-leerlinge (1999) en kleuterleidster Jill Standaert, vader van Faith en Owen, leerlingen van d’Oefenschool, zoon van oud-leerlinge (1972) Inga Scharley, is industrieel ingenieur informatica en ere-ambassadeur (2011) Toegepaste Ingenieurswetenschappen van Ho Gent, is CEO van de bedrijven Citymesh en nCentric.

Het betreft het jaarlijks congres wifiNow. Dit jaar vond het event plaats in het prachtige Berlijn. Citymesh is er aanwezig als Belgische WiFi- operator met de ambitie om Europees te groeien. Ik werd uitgenodigd om onze visie te geven over het WiFi4EU project waarbij Europa 120miljoen vrijmaakt om in 8000 Europese steden Free WiFi mogelijk te maken. Europa luistert immers goed naar de markt en de experts om van dit project een succes te maken. Trots dat we er konden bij zijn!
